The deception of www.amazingfacts.org website
The amazing facts ministry looks wonderful on the outset and the way the owners of this site portray this site as a Christian site is amazing. Basically the people behind this site is The Seventh-day Adventists and I have wrote an email to them asking why they have to mask their Severnth-day Adventists identity and I'm still waiting for their reply. And also the Everlasting Gospel hour program aired in the 3ABN never mentions which church are these services coming from? Seventh-Day Adventists doctrines are not solely based on the Bible but it's a mixture of Ellen White insane prophecy and the Bible. I always wonder how this so called Pastor Doug seems to throw all the Amazing Facts at the crowd and makes everything seems true. Beware of the deception and masking the Seventh-Day Adventists practice to pull you into their web of slavery to legalistic demands. While the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ has set us free from all law and we hear a different story from these people.

Quite the blanket statement there. Not all Seventh-day Adventists agree on their own theologies. Some are traditional and bent on prophecy and eschatology, others are grace centered and Christ followers without any adherence to Ellen White.
Amazing Facts and 3ABN are factions of "traditional Adventism." Programming is geared toward older members of the SDA church.
The methods to really watch out for are the Daniel and Revelation evangelism seminars that are usually put out by local churches who advertise in their communities.
Quite honestly, I think the General Conference of the Adventist Church is moving toward a more inclusive, Gospel approach to evangelism. But local churches are like a "box of chocolate...you'll never know which one you'll get." (thank you Forest Gump!).
Do your research on contemporary. Adventism. It has come a long way.

This article was aimed at www.amazingfacts.org who hide their church behind this site.
There is altogether too much ignorance about Adventism. Adventism is completely biblical based. Ellen White comes within the biblical provision that prophets must be acknowledged and obeyed. There is no language anywhere that says there will be no more prophets since the days of Christ.
But there is bias on this blog with the addition about Ellen White's "insane" notions. The Adventist Church specializes in Revelation or last-day prophecies. That's because the book of Revelation says it is presented to God's Church to show them what must shortly come to pass for the day of God is at hand.
During the Millerite Movement, special prophecy was being studied. All the other churches closed their ears and said Christ was not coming in 1844. Tragically, they also taught that the book of Revelation is an incomprehensible mystery. This is contrary to what it says about itself in the first chapter having a blessing for those who read and understand. Then, the last book talks about what will happen to those who add to its messages and take away from them. The other churches at that time, preaching that the book of Revelation was an "incomprehensible mystery," took away from its messages and therefore fulfilled the scripture in the last chapter telling us that all such will have their names wiped out of the book of life.
That same error pervades to this day. If the book of Revelation or prophecy interest and study is opposed to the Gospel in any way, be it known that Christ was the one who made it that way and who gave it to his church.
marcel ...i suggest you go back to the bible and look at it again ,jesus said .."if you love me keep my commandments " do you love jesus ? or just spend your time on this blog casting aspersions on a faith that is bible based? then when you have read the new testament ,check whether there is any mention of sunday worship. not finding any ,check our catholic friend's history and you'll find they changed the day jesus rested and sanctified ,and halloewed and made it a pagan day in which 99% of all faiths that "read" the bible keep ! ...legalist? ..i think not ..just get yr facts together ...rgds pepz
I was saved many years ago and since then, I have been trying to find the Joel's army last day true church. I found Amazing Facts one day while channel surfing. I have never been more impressed from watching a TV minister like Doug Batchelor. I am not a 100% convinced yet that they are the end time church but so far they are the closest one I've found. Cshif
