| Server Error We're sorry, but Gmail is temporarily unavailable. We're currently working to fix the problem -- please try logging in to your account in a few minutes. |
I always assumed nothing could go wrong with Google Services but it did today when I needed to access my gmail account. But what could you expect when you get free services. Most of the time I tried to access in the morning I received an error with an error code. Now the situation has been improved at least because I'm getting the error which is shown above. I wonder what happens if I never be able to access gmail.

Why do people insist on calling Gmail "free"? It ain't free by a long shot. Instead of the user paying for it, advertisers are paying for it in the $millions. If Gmail goes down, their revenue stream dries up. And, they are most likely making 10 times more money through the ads than they would make by charging users for an account. So enough of this "Gmail is free, so I shouldn't complain" mindset. It's free to you, but they're raking in big bucks through user accounts and the associated ads.
It's free to the consumer, so you shouldn't have any complaints.
Most people seem to overlook the fact that gmail is in beta, and with all software in beta, you use it at your own risk. Don't expect it to be fully working 100% of the time. If you've become overly reliant on beta software, that's your own stupid fault!
